Wheel Lift
Wheel Lift Towing is used on Front Wheel and Rear Wheel Drive Vehicles only. The Spoon wheel lift cradles the tires in a secure spoon allowing the vehicle to be transported damage free and secure. Wheel lift towing rates are commonly lower than Flatbed towing rates due to the hook up operation.
Flat Bed
Flatbed Towing is used on All Wheel Drive and 4-Wheel Drive Vehicles which are common on many of today’s models. When the vehicle is on the flatbed it is being transported much the same way that a person is transported on a moving sidewalk. All the wheels are on a “moving” platform and the vehicles is secured to the platform so it moves in unison with the platform.
