Last week we received a call for a car that landed in a ditch. It was night time and the car went in backwards leaving the headlights shining at the moon. Luckily nobody was hurt, just a little shaken up. Within five minutes we safely recovered the vehicle out of the ditch and miraculously it had no damage. A few minutes later the sweet elderly lady was on her way.
It's important to always be aware of your surroundings. She was backing out of a friends driveway and did not realize that the road dropped off immediately at the edge of the pavement. In this instance there was no damage, except for her ego.
Please be cautious as you travel, especially if you're not familiar with the area.

Neither Snow, Nor Rain, Nor Heat.....
Gary Duchesne - Thursday, May 06, 2010
It’s possible that tow truck drivers and recovery specialists have to live by the same creed associated with our mail carriers.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
It’s really no different for us. When we get the call that your vehicle is broke down, it doesn’t matter what we’re doing or what the weather is like. We roll as quickly as possible to ensure your not standing around on the side of the road in a dangerous situation.
Luckily this past winter was mild but there have been plenty of times that we were marching through deep snow to recover a car that lost control and went down an embankment. Keep checking back for more stories from the road.

Gary Duchesne - Thursday, April 22, 2010
April 22, 2010 Gary's Tow Pros website is launched!
Here are a few tips for you in case you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to call a tow truck or a recovery specialist.
Gary Duchesne - Sunday, March 28, 2010
- Make sure your vehicles is as far away from traffic as possible.
- Keep flashers on or use flares.
- Remain in you car or a nearby building. Make sure you can see your vehicle so you know when the tow truck arrives. If you’re staying in your vehicle lock the doors.
- Only crack the window to talk to somebody until you can verify it’s safe.
- Gather the items you don’t want left in the vehicle and separate your vehicle keys from your other keys. Your vehicle keys will need to remain with the vehicle.
